Interesting that I graduated from a wonderful but strict Moody Bible Institute in the mid ’70’s, then went to finish my undergrad at Calvin College, a bastion of pipe smoking Dutch Reformed Calvinist community. Somehow certain fundamentalist lifestyle restrictions had missed this conservative European styled Christian enclave in western Michigan.
